Rockdale County & DPI+R is implementing, PreVenture, an evidence-based prevention for students ages 12-17 years. PreVenture helps youth explore their personal coping styles and set long-term goals. This program is made possible with partnerships in the community with Decatur Prevention Initiative + Rockdale(DPI+R), and funding is provided by a federal grant program obtained by DPI. Students who participate in the PreVenture workshops will meet four times in small groups completing a PreVenture workbook. Students will keep their workbooks after the completion of the sessions.
